Online Bible resources worth noting

I discovered these sources the other day and thought they might be useful for scholars, students and lay person alike who are interested in languages and translation. Check out the online New English Translation of the Septuagint. Or the Greek NT (UBS NA 27), Septaginta, Biblia Hebraica and others at United Bible Societies web site (in German). NB My thesis advisor, Larry J. Perkins, Ph.D translated Exodus for the NETS 🙂

  1. “A Narrative Critical Analysis of the Theme of Obduracy, Language of Offense and the Messianic Secret in Mark’s Gospel.” I am finalizing editing in the next couple of weeks in preparation for binding and placement in TWU library. Dr. Guenther is in charge so it should get done sooner than later. What program are you in?

  2. My wife is in the MLE program at ACTS – I’m currently in the process of transferring to the MALing program from the Grad Institute of Applied Linguistics. The processing dealing with the Canadian Government has take longer than I would have preferred, so I haven’t been able to start classes here just yet – currently, I’m aiming for next summer. My planned thesis topic: Phrase Structure & Discourse Functions in Hellenistic Greek.
